Dog Tails Dog of the Month

We have not one but TWO Dog Tails Dogs of the Month for June! Sapphire Blue and Onyx Moon are a pair of 10 month old Great Dane sisters from Pittsburgh, PA. We found them on Instagram, where the pair have attracted over 800 followers with their adorable photos and videos. We reached out to their proud dog dad Jason, and asked him all about his two puppies, their (much smaller) dog sibling, their new DogWatch Hidden Fence, raising Great Danes and making friends on social media. This month’s Dog Tails Dog of the Month goes to a distinguished older gentleman who recently joined the DogWatch family. Carmen is a 9 year-old Shih Tzu who was rescued from a hoarding situation and adopted by Trixie and Keith Bailey of DogWatch of Southeastern Ontario last July. Carmen is a survivor, and his story shines a light on the many wonderful senior dogs in need who are looking for forever homes to live out their golden years.

For this month’s Dog Tails Dog of the Month, we didn’t have to look far. Shiloh, one of our DogWatch Office Dogs, went through a health scare recently. This tough pup didn’t let a little surgery get him down, though, and the whole DogWatch team was inspired by strong spirit and persistent smile. We are sharing Shiloh’s story not only because we are proud of him, but also because his condition and treatment are a good example of why it’s important to monitor your pet’s health and visit your vet regularly.

Continuing the tradition we started with Ludivine the Marathon Bloodhound, this month’s Dog Tails Dog of the Month goes to the lovable rescue dogs of the Boon Lott’s Elephant Sanctuary Cat and Dog Home in Sukhothai, North Thailand. We first heard about these wonderful dogs and their amazing home thanks to DogWatch Thailand Dealers Doug de Weese and Patsorn “Bee” Sophan, and we were so inspired by their story that we wanted to share it with all of you!
