This month, the American Kennel Club announced the results of their annual survey of the most popular dog breeds in America, and for the 29th year in a row, the Labrador Retriever took the top spot. The AKC based their list on the number of registrations received in 2019.

Labrador Retrievers are not the only hold-over, though. In fact, this year’s top 5 breeds are the same as last year’s. There is one new arrival on the list – the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, in the 10th spot. This diminutive herding dog cracked the top ten for the very first time!

Here’s the full list of 2019’s top 10 most popular dog breeds, starring some adorable DogWatch Dogs from all across the country!
