For the first time in eight years, Bella has been unseated from the top spot. Perennial second place finisher Lucy has claimed the #1 title for female dog names in 2025. Other names on the rise in 2025 are Ellie (#6 this year, up from #10 last year) and Daisy (#4 this year, up from #7 last year).
