Dogs Decoded: A Nova Documentary

Dogs DecodedWe were recently alerted to the Nova documentary, “Dogs Decoded,” so of course we had to check it out. And are we glad we did! The film is chock full of information on both the evolution of dogs, and how dogs have come to relate and interact with humans in a manner unlike any other pairing of species. New Social Media for Dog Owners: Are you "Pinterest"ed?

There’s a new (free!) social media phenomenon that’s sweeping the nation and proving to be quite the resource for dog owners. It’s called Pinterest, and it’s essentially a cork board for the digital age with a great social component. Remember the days of scouring magazines for recipes, craft ideas, pictures, and decorating ideas, then clipping out those pages and posting them on a cork board or filing them away in a series of folders or binders? Pinterest lets you do all that digitally: no muss, no fuss, no clutter, and better yet, you won’t LOSE anything!

Digital Dogs: Woofin’ it up on the Web

Some dogs have something to say, and they’re not going to let silly things like the inability to “speak” or lack of opposable thumbs keep them from doing it. These pups have taken the Internet by storm, regaling their followers with humorous stories, tales of their days, and photos that just make you say “Aw!” They are the digital dogs, and these are some of our favorites.
