Happy National Mutt Day! Held twice a year on July 31st and December 2nd, this holiday is all about “embracing, saving and celebrating mixed breed dogs,” according to event founder Colleen Paige.

In honor of this fun day, we’ve pulled together a round-up of fabulous mixed breed DogWatch dogs from across the USA! At DogWatch, it’s our mission to keep dogs safe at home in their yards. So we were definitely intrigued to see Business Insider‘s recent list of the dog breeds most likely to run away from home. The list featured a few usual suspects (hello, hounds!) and some surprises, too. Check out the top 15 below, complete with photos of actual DogWatch customers who overcame their wandering ways and are now safe at home thanks to their DogWatch Hidden Fences!

Today, the American Kennel Club announced the results of their annual survey of the most popular dog breeds in America, and once again, the Labrador Retriever took the top spot. For 26 years in a row, the Lab has been #1 on the list, which is determined by the AKC based on the number of registrations received. In fact, 2016’s top 6 breeds are the same as last year’s list. 

Rather than just tell you the rest of the breeds, we thought we’d show you. Here are 2016’s top 10 most popular dog breeds, starring 35 gorgeous DogWatch Dogs from across the country (and one Canadian dog, too)!
